Forget The Funnel is a boutique consultancy that helps B2B SaaS teams conduct and leverage customer research to reach and retain high-lifetime value customers. I was brought on to manage the launch of the Founders’ book, Forget The Funnel, and am currently serving as Director of Operations, overseeing the team and execution of our strategic initiatives across the organization.

Notables:

  • No employee turnover during tenure, lead a team of Researchers, Creatives, and Project Managers.
  • Implemented and lead systems for project management, financial tracking, employee on/offboarding, and more.
  • Maintained 13 different Amazon #1 bestseller positions for 11 days post launch of the book.

I’m beyond thankful for the opportunity to work alongside Alex. I wouldn’t be who I am in my career without him.

Fitness Mentors is a fitness certification and education company that specializes in fitness entrepreneurship. I serve as GM for this small and scrappy team; I’m involved in our website development, copywriting, system development, project management, and wherever else I’m needed to hit our goals. 

Notables:

    • Lead an organizational pivot away from a certification prep company to a certification company.
    • Increased staff by 25%.

    Primal Mobility is a mobility coaching company that helps athletes and the general population alike move pain-free, recover faster, and perform better. I’m currently serving as an advisor to their growth and new product development. 

    Notables:

    • Beta course sold out 15 seats ($25k USD).

    QuickCoach is a program-building and delivery innovation in the health and fitness space with over 22,000 users as of May, 2023. QuickCoach is a new-market innovation that operates on a freemium model. I served as the research and innovation lead from inception of idea to development of the tool.

     Notables:

    • Led 50+ user interviews, three commitment tests, a half-dozen concept tests, and two prototypes.
    • Made multiple, major concept shifts over the course of the project based on test results.

    The Online Trainer Academy is a business-development certification program for health and fitness professionals. The course sits under the Personal Trainer Development Center umbrella. In 2016 I oversaw the development of the program, then subequently ran the entire operation until 2020.

    Notables:

    • Developed Business Mentorship branch of the program, hired 10 staff, and oversaw mentorship for 2 years until I passed it off to my first hire.

    • Over 6,100 students enrolled during my time there.

    Role: Advisory Project Manager, Instructional Designer

    I oversaw the overhaul of the content and UX for the Don’t Be Weird Society, a digital program that helps Fitness professionals build a non-slimy organic marketing approach.

    My work involved crafting a thoughtful blueprint for the development of the new program and overseeing its execution. I also advised on the course content, structure, and experience.

    Notables:

      • Managed the simultaneous creation of nine in-depth learning modules.
      • Also served as a subject-matter expert and helped develop the curriculum.

      Alex has the ability to make anyone feel comfortable and he possesses this positive energy that helps push you to become the best version of yourself.

      The National Personal Training Institute is a hands-on trade school for personal trainers. With the days split between classroom instruction and hands-on learning in the gym, NPTI provides thorough and real-world education for fitness professionals on everything from anatomy and physiology to business development.

       Notables:

      • Developed curriculum, exams, and projects for classes of 20-30 — both in the classrom and in the gym.
      • One student dropout over the course of three semesters and 96% pass rate.
